In the spirit of harmony, more than 180 countries and organizations gathered in Hannover Germany to explore the relationship between humankind, nature and technology. Each nation presented innovative solutions to some of the pressing social, health and environmental challenges facing the world on the eve of the new millennium. As the only company representing the health care sector in the Canada pavilion, and the only company from the Atlantic region of Canada, the Digital Group introduced telehealth to the world. Expo 2000 was expected to draw 40 million visitors.
