THE DIGITAL GROUP OF TELEHEALTH COMPANIES ANNOUNCES TELEHEALTH EXHIBIT AT MILLENNIUM WORLD'S FAIR

Dartmouth, Nova Scotia - April 4, 2000

The Digital Group of Telehealth Companies announced today that they would be the sole exhibitors of telehealth technologies at the Millennium World's Fair, Hanover, Germany. The Fair will run from June 1 to October 31, 2000 and is expected to draw approximately 40,000,000 people from 200 nations, making it the largest event in the history of man.

Digital's display will feature a Central Nursing Station and Patient Home Station that will allow video teleconferencing and the transfer of real-time video and heart sounds. A video conferencing workstation will be used to demonstrate healthcare Internet technology, remote monitoring and video.

Digital Telehealth Inc. is a telemedicine consulting company and Digital Image FX Inc. is an Internet developer and telehealth equipment provider. Together, these companies provide a holistic approach to telehealth, from need assessment and health professional training to equipment purchase and secure integration of electronic patient applications.

We are very pleased to be among the 17 exhibitors chosen to demonstrate within the Canada Pavilion at Expo 2000. The World's Fair is an international business opportunity that is seldom offered to a young company states Wayne Bell, CEO of the Digital Group. Technologies such as television have been featured for the first time at the World's Fair, so telehealth should be no different. I just didn't think that it would be our company doing it.

Canada's Commissioner General S. Bob Blair is brimming with enthusiasm about The Digital Group of Telehealth Company's participation at Expo 2000. The Canada pavilion at Expo is the most ambitious that the country has ever presented at an international exhibition.

"The group's participation, in keeping with Canada's themes at Expo 2000, 'Spirit of Community', 'Stewards of the Land' and 'Connecting with the Future', shows the world our country's leadership, in how telehealth technologies can be properly applied to make a difference in peoples lives, improving the standard of medical care in a cost-effective manner," said Mr. Blair.

Canada is proud to present an exhibit on telehealth, a field which builds on Canada's achievements in information and communications technologies, he added.

The Digital Group of Telehealth Companies provides telehealth consulting, training, equipment and software/Internet applications. It has developed strategic alliances with various telehealth equipment and software vendors including American TeleCare, Tandberg and Clinician Support Technology. Digital has research alliances with numerous national and international universities and research centres. Formal agreements include a memorandum of understanding with the U.S. Air Force and a technology transfer agreement with NASA. Headquartered in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, the companies are privately held corporations.
